In Shellie’s 30 years of recruiting, being active in several business associations along with frequently attending industry meetings, she maintains a highly visible position and is recognized as one of the leading executive search consultants in pharma. Shellie is extremely well known in her field and highly respected. This positioning has enabled Caplan Associates to develop and maintain the strong relationships necessary to source high quality, superior candidates that meet her clients' qualifications.
Within the last 3 years, Shellie became certified in Executive Coaching and has been specializing in Career Management Coaching. She created “Transition Services”, a division of Caplan Associates, which has a program for the company in change, as well as for the individual going through a transition. Here she can utilize her expertise and knowledge in working with companies who are experiencing a merger or downsizing, along with helping the individual create a successful career transformation.
Over the last 20 years, Shellie has helped grow, and been a Board Director of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. She has been recognized several times for her contributions, and in 2007 received the HBA Star Volunteer Award.
Shellie considers her greatest accomplishment being the mother of her grown triplets who are the major source of her pride.
